DEFIANCE
Defiance is a red Couta Boat which
lives in the harbour at Queenscliff. The adventures of Defiance
have been captured for children by local writers and illustrators. The
books tell gripping tales of drama and rescue in a mix of fantasy and
historically accurate accounts of couta boats and the dangers of the Rip at the
entrance to Port Phillip.

DEFIANCE WORK SHEETS
Work sheets suitable for primary school students have been developed from the
Defiance books. Students can learn about the Queenscliff couta boats
and the drama of the seas at the entrance to Port Phillip.
