Queenscliffe Maritime Museum will again celebrate International Lighthouse Weekend on August 18 & 19, 2018
The event is conducted at Point Lonsdale Lighthouse in conjunction with Geelong Amateur Radio Club members. Point Lonsdale Lighthouse will be open for guided tours on Saturday and Sunday plus a flag raising ceremony and Foghorn soundings.

Model Boat Show 2018
Sunday August 26, 2018, 2.00 – 5.00 pm
Steve Murphy and friends will warm us up with their favourite Jazz tunes.
As always, this event takes place in the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum Boatshed, amongst historic boats and boat building tools.
Refreshments will be available – nibbles, and drinks at Bar prices.
BOOK LAUNCH DECEMBER 9th
On Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 September the skills of model boat makers will be on display in the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum. Model vessels of all classes are replicated in fine detail by craftspeople with a love for boats and their heritage.
The display is open 10:30 am - 4.00 pm both days. Local model makers will be in attendance to talk about their work and techniques.

Submerged: stories of Australia’s shipwrecks: Workshop @ QMM
The 2017 Annual General Meeting will be held at the Museum on Saturday November 18 at 10.00 am.
On Tuesday 23rd May, the Museum successfully hosted a recent "Australian shipwrecks-themed exhibition development workshop" on behalf of the AMMC (Australian Maritime Museums Council) and the ANMM (Australian National Maritime Museum).
